Highest Glare Rejection Window Film

Highest “Glare Rejection” Window Films Available

Glare is known as visible light in the spectrum of the sun. It is the part of the sun we see but cannot touch. When equating the amount of glare rejection one can obtain out of a window film, we talk about “total visible light rejected”. Total visible light rejected is the amount of glare that we keep out from coming into a building through the glazing system.

Visible light transmittance is the ratio of the amount of total visible solar energy at between 280 and 780 nanometres that is allowed to pass through the glazing material. The value is expressed in a percentage. Glare is influenced by visible light transmittance through any window.

A certain portion of visible light is also reflected by the glazing system. The best performing film on glare rejection is the Grey 5 non reflective range. This cuts out 95% of the glare, only allowing 5% to be transmitted.
